Josie was dressed as a Jackson cat at her school party and a cowgirl on Halloween night. She is with her friend Aiden/Harry Potter here.

Josie's best cat friend, Jackson, died suddenly (fluid in the lungs) the day before Halloween. We miss him so much. He was the best, most tolerant cat ever!

Josie's 6th Birthday

We had a rodeo theme for Josie's 6th Birthday this Fall, complete with rodeo events, pony rides and a horsehoe cake!

Horse Rescue Ranch

This year, instead of gifts from her friends for birthday, we asked for donations to this Manitoba Horse Rescue Ranch (Papa's Ranch). So we went to visit the Ranch in the Fall to deliver the donation money. Such an incredible place, 15 rescued horses and other wonderful creatures. They all gathered around us when we went out to the pasture to visit them. Very cool!

And the Cowgirl is Born

Josie had some riding lessons on a pony the summer of 2009 and we also attended a couple rodeos and also got to ride on a few big horses. And so, a Cowgirl is born. This horse is named Ice and is a sweetie.

Saying Goodbye to a Loved One

Tim decided it was time to put his old Toyota truck to sleep this Fall. It served us well with

500,000 km behind it. It was still running, but falling apart!

My brother had a new addition to his family in the Fall - a puppy named Marty!
