Grandma's Homestead, presently

Josie and I were just visiting Grandma's homestead. Here's a couple pics of the large gazebo that now sits where Grandma's house was and a view of her lot from the North. It is still such a beautiful space - just needs Grandma's flowers here and there. Her lilac bushes are still there and are blooming right now though, so that was lovely to see and her plum trees are beginning to bloom, too. Josie loves the space too - she even climbed the "squirrel" tree and a few other trees on the west side.

Hangin' out at Aunt Jess' Place

While looking through my mom's photos again, I came across a bunch of photos that were in an envelope addressed from Ann's son, David. I am not sure of the date but judging by Michele's "lovely" outfit (giggle) and Randy's approximate age, I would think about 1974/75. Pretty good pic of Dick and Jess together!

Preschooler Kim

Here is a couple pictures of my brother's daughter, Kim, when she was a preschooler, left - age 3, right - age 4. It seems she was quite fair and blondish when she was growing up (much like me, and Josie, too). I've seen a picture where she looks very much like my brother in her childhood. As she got older though, she really began to look like her birth mother, as you have seen in the previous photos . . . and just as beautiful!

Hilton House Pictures

I found some good pictures of the Hilton House taken in 1964.

The Hocking Homestead

Not too many house

renovations happening

by 1964! But the flowers

are indeed lovely!

This would be a view of the west side of the house - I remember pitching and catching a baseball with Steve along that side of the house.

Uncle Frank and Aunt Ann

Has everyone met Uncle Frank? Here is the lovely couple on their wedding day.
