Bear in our Yard

We had some nice weather in the spring but then a sudden snow blew in (probably from Calgary way!). It also brought with it a bear just awake from its hibernation. It came into our yard and scratched its back on our ash tree!

Josie's School Spring Concert

We were so proud of Josie at this event. She recited 3 fun poems of her own chosing, narrated her class's play and sang beautifully with her school choir!

Josie's Riding Lessons

Josie continued with her horse riding lessons this spring. She moved up from a cute pony to this huge handsome horse named Cash. She was thrilled! And . . . she 's a natural-born cowgirl! She did so well learning to ride on this big horse.

Mother's Day 2010

We were in Winnipeg area for Emmalise's 1st Birthday and so we had Mother's Day in the hotel. When we got home, Josie gave me a handmade garden stone for Mother's Day.

Kim and Eddie put on a big outdoor, Winnie the Pooh party for Emmalise. She had fun I think but was out like a light by 3:oo and missed all the gift-opening fun!
